Reading first thing in morning

Image
I get up early in the morning so it makes sense to me that I am available to do a one on one reading at 8:30 . One last week and one yesterday.  It worked for me and it was convenient for the client. We both wore masks and gloves and were distanced at a table. It was a great day to be outside and look at what was happening in the client's world. #Ottawa @ottawacitizen

Cobden and Beachburg Ontario

Image
Tuesday we drove into the depths of the Ottawa Valley stopping in Cobden first to visit the park overlooking Muskrat Lake then on to Beachburg to see Steve's dad Bill.   https://ottawasun.com/2014/07/27/the-story-of-muskrat-lake-monster/wcm/49e0afb3-9f7d-4f14-b654-c4b4b378b09f .

I am very blessed to have a great relationship with my husband @StevenRobertMorrison. Steve often says we have one brain and what he means is that we have a unique synchronicity such that if we are reading at a party in separate rooms we often will use the same words or explanation to describe a querant. They tell us about it. Also in the same vein, frequently if I am up earlier than Steve and looking at an article or video online, Steve will have a dream that reflects what I am looking at.For example if I saw a video about tigers he may have a dream about a large wild cat at the same time.

2 or 3 Things I Know About Her – From Her Handwriting! by Hollie Davies-Steven Morrison

There once was a man named Steve who had only $5 in his pocket (which wasn’t his to begin with - he found it!). He was attending a brunch where the woman across the table was selling tarot cards. She said "give me $5" and he bought them. Evolution into palmistry and handwriting analysis and other parlor-style tricks is what followed, culminating in a meeting at Bridgehead between Steve Morrison and I as I delved into having my handwriting analyzed. Based on a certain methodology, one can see the good and the bad, although Steve decided to concentrate on and accentuate the positive. There are many different points...

I felt stressed and a bit lost today so I had an afternoon nap. I may have picked up some of the negative energy from one of the readings and it weighed heavily on me. In addition I was waiting for my test results that came up clean.

Thursday July 23

Image
Today I drove Steve to an appointment for 11:30 in the east end of Ottawa. On the way back we stopped at Brewer Park and got our Covid 19 test.(came back negative). We needed a clean bill of health to go visit Steve's dad in a seniors home in Beachburg, Ontario on Tuesday. Even at that we have to meet him outside in a Gazebo. They are not letting visitors in yet as they have had no cases and want to keep it that way.  It took 2 and a half hours and was not unpleasant. Good to be around people. I was a bit nervous going into it though.

Tues July 20

A nearby lady requested 3 readings this afternoon on her balcony with PPE. She is full of love and kindness. It was a pleasure to offer tarot, palm , face reading and tea leaf reading to each of them She was beyond pleased and wants me to contact her for the next psychic fair so I can read for her again. While I was there I heard someone moving around/closing a door in the bedroom area. I said that I did not know someone else was there. She said she lives alone. Her husband died 5 years ago. She does not hear very well but I heard it plain as day.   Feeling good and connected. Wednesday   I  received  phone call requesting another reading (a welcome  avalanche of  requests) I made plans to see her in far out Barrhaven(almost at Barnstable Rd) at 8am Wed July 22 before work starts. I spent 2 and a half hours listing, talking and laying out the cards outside at my table with chairs I brought. She could hear me well through my mask and was recording ...

I just got off a Facebook Video Chat reading  with a young man speaking to me from his really nice SUV. The reading definitely resonated with him and he is very happy with it.

Monday

Image
We are still in the midst of a sultry hot summer. Yesterday and today staying in reading and reviewing esoteric writings. I needed some time for reflection .I did a reading for myself yesterday that resonated but it showed a powerful outcome within a year. I am very pleased with that.

Eganville Ontario

Image
it is like going home even though I have never lived there. Steve grew up in Eganville and we visit or make pilgrimages several times a year. We had a summer place called "the Ranch" once on Snake River Line that was about a 15 minute drive from here. An of course Steve's parents had a house for many years in Cobden , a village located at Muskrat Lake/Highway 17 . Muskrat Lake has a monster story. We stopped for gas at Antrim/Arnprior on the way home. Steve treated us to some butter tarts from thefamous  Truckstop Bakery .

Manifestation

Image
This morning I woke up to find that an egg I buried for prosperity in front of the entrance to my home June 21 (Solstice during an Eclipse) had been dug up, by what I assume was a small animal. What does that mean?It felt like the energy had been released. Steve said that something significant was about to happen.  Last week I read that the Rune below  Kaunan or  Kenaz indicates supernatural influence. After reflecting on metaphysical things today, I decided to draw a rune and preconceived it to be the Kenaz rune and I did draw it out. There are 25 Runes. Really powerful feeling. This Rune shows me about learning, teaching and being creative. A torch.A magic wand.

Be Your Best self Reading at July 17, 2020

Image
To be your best self you need to have a balanced life including challenges and successes. Sometimes the ride will feel like it is going downhill but that could be to gain momentum for the trip uphill. Today's 10 card Celtic Spread personally showed me an outcome relating to the archetype of  King of Wands. Wands shows the element fire which indicates a passionate nature. This king has a magic wand and will bestow benefits upon me by the end of the year. The rest of the cards were indicative of where the world has been leading me and how I feel about that situation. There was faith among obstacles. Please see image.   The first card indicating where "I am a the start of this idea"shows the 6 of Swords. Six is a blessing and it shows success after anxieties.  The card over it is the Fool. This 0 card is the beginning and indicates a leap of faith with full confidence that all the elements water, fire, earth and air available and in your favour.  The foundation or b...

Walmart and a Medieval chair

Image
Another day of sultry weather in Ottawa.Zoom meeting at 8:30 am then coffee on the porch and a fruitful chat with Steve.  I did a reading for myself that concluded with the King of Wands which made me feel very excited about what was awaiting me. Off to the Bayshore Mall for a Walmart return and som milk while Steve had a couple of copies of the picture shown here printed. Steve built the chair this entrepreneur Jesse Edwards /Games @drewlingpanda  is sitting in. The professional photo shoot was last week .  Then Steve was off to Old Navy to buy cargo pants on sale in the elusive size of 34/34. .

Psychic Fairs Please

We miss having a booth  Psychic Fairs a lot. Fingers crossed that things will change soon.

Abundance and Teddy Bears

Image
Today's word is Abundance. Manifest it in your life. Do things and new things will come to you!  It's for real.  I had a great sleep last night . Got up around 7am and finished off sewing a few specialty masks. Tomorrow I pick up more cotton broadcloth from Fabric land curbside pick up to make a whole lot more. I picked up the refilled ink cartridges from Ink Plus Storetoday so we will be ready for Steve's next graphic print for the masks. Steve is working on an animated ad for the masks for promotion. I contacted the City of Ottawa about donating some . I had an inquiry about a reading online. BTW I also make these teddy bears. I find I need to get up early to get all the things I want to do done.

The chair returns

Image
Yesterday I took Steve to a couple of appointments in the East end of Ottawa and then to Habitat Restore on Belfast and  in Stittsville looking for rails for an antique bed. Steve's Medieval chair was rented out for a photo shoot and returned in the morning. Made more masks.

Wednesday  started with an early  call from a lady named Patsy wanting readings for 3 ladies  July 21. What a great way to start the day! Later on I spoke to my 98 year old Aunt Bobbie on the phone, returned some stuff to Walmart and sewed some custom masks.

Keep it Simple

I love the sentiments promoted by both these Winners Wall hangings.Never stop exploring;ask questions, be surprised,be surprising, step off the track. Live Simply :eat fresh fruit from the plant, read a book, darn a sock, water flowers, catch a dust mote.

Strawberries and Bifocals

Super hot day today but I was in and out of car air conditioning all day.. I dropped off my glasses prescription at Eyewear Emporium then off for numerous errands. Purchased some work clothes at Walmart .Bought some cherries  fresh fruit and hot dogs at Freshco. Sunday we bought the fresh strawberries in Winchester at a roadside stand.

It really has become clear to me how much  this down time during the pandemic offers us a time to reflect on all the things that we did in our super busy lives that we didn't have much time to ruminate over. The changes came upon us like a brick wall dropped from the sky and it still is very very scary but the time is allowing me/us/you to reflect on all the experiences of the last few years in a way we have not experienced before.  For many of us, pre covid life required us to steal moments of uncluttered or focused thought. Now some of us have so much additional  free time but yet, things can still be avoided with possibly more gnawing guilt about it. You might not have an excuse why a thing was not done. I am reminded during this time how quickly time goes even if at home. The more family members or pets you have at home to more complications multiply.  You have to have a schedule to get things done or one can get distracted easily. Some of that distraction is bene...

Today Sunday July 5, we took a long convoluted almost 6 hour drive to and from Morrisburg, Ontario . The photo is of a tiny church in Greely . Originally I thought that we might come across some flea markets. Because of Covid 19 the Rideau Carleton Raceway Flea Market and another one I knew of on Hwy 31 close to Williamsburg  were both closed and no other ones to be seen.Steve needs the discarded chairs, tables or dressers to make some additional inspired repurposed furniture and props. Gorgeous day . We stopped at half a dozen cemeteries along the way as Steve in particular likes to document taphology (study of tombstones) and pay homage to the departed. We stopped at several parks including Bass Bridge Park and another one in mountain commemorating  fallen soldiers.  Steve made us travelling snacks including delicious cake, a kit kat chocolate bar, maple leaf cookies and lemon wafers. All washed down with Dr.Pepper and Coca Cola(and copious amounts of water as well) We h...

me Yesterday was a bit of a challenge. Today will be much better. Saturday morning, I grabbed my cloth mask and went to Bayshore Shopping Centre for an eye doctor appointment. The last few weeks, I have been getting eye strain, so it seemed like the best route to take while things are quiet. When I got to Bayshore, there weren't too many people milling about. Good, that is how I wanted it considering the omnipresent COVID 19 pandemic. Only Some of the shoppers in the mall halls had masks on, but this coming week it will be mandated that everyone inside businesses wear one. I waited patiently outside the eyeglass shop, and when asked in and then was directed to the hand sanitizer. Masks and distancing were already mandatory to get in this business.   I had my usual examination minus the eye drops (seems weird they did not give me drops to enlarge my pupils. I called and asked why and the receptionist said the doctor must not have deemed necessary). The doc said I had a difference be...
